The contribution connected the physicochemical properties and absorption mechanisms of ionic liquids with bubble hydrodynamics, mass transfer and reactor performance. By examining the available evidence from a bubble-column perspective, the work identified the main limitations of current datasets and models and outlined the challenges that must be addressed for reliable reactor design and scale-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
