At the bubble scale, he contributes to the image-based characterization of single bubbles and bubble swarms, with particular attention to hydrodynamics and mass-transfer mechanisms; at the reactor scale, he supports the large-diameter column experiments and the interpretation of optical-probe and wire-mesh measurements.
